North Yuba Trail, California

The Tahoe National Forest contracted with Donald Hays Trail Contractor, Inc. to build a six mile segment of trail through steep cross slope terrain and heavy forest with many stream crossings. During times of blasting, Highway 49, was closed to traffic. Today the trail is used primarily by mountain bikes and gold miners.
