Lake Davis Trail, California

Donald Hays Trail contractor, Inc. contracted by USDA Forest Service built two segments of the Lake Davis Trail.  These segments were built in some wetlands areas where helical piers were used for the construction of raised trails.  Raised trails were constructed from recycled plastic lumber, certified pressure-treated glue-lam beams and certified pressure-treated lumber.  In some cases the raised trails were covered with conveyor belting to minimize wear to the glue lam beams.
